Explore 90 years of passion on guerbet90.com
As part of the “90 Years of Passion” campaign, Guerbet is launching a website, guerbet90.com, on the birth date of its founder, André Guerbet.
André Guerbet, the founder of the company of the same name in 1926, was born in Paris (France) on February 16, 1901. He was the son of Marcel Guerbet who invented Lipiodol®* in the same year, 1901. He studied at the Ecole Centrale Paris and completed his training at the Faculty of Pharmacy with a view to industrializing his father’s invention.
On October 10, 1924, the chemical and pharmaceutical production of the small family business moved to Saint-Ouen, 22 rue de Landy. Two years later, in 1926, André Guerbet officially created Laboratoire André Guerbet and wrote the first chapter of the Group’s history.
As we celebrate “90 years of passion for imaging”, we are pleased and proud to share with you, on the dedicated site guerbet90.com, the key periods of the Group, a series of representative images of Guerbet and the celebration of this anniversary throughout the world through the campaign # Guerbet90 on the social networks.
Visit the site to learn more about our history, and regularly discover new photos and articles concerning Guerbet and radiology. We also invite you to take part in the campaign #Guerbet90 on Twitter and Instagram, and to follow our news on LinkedIn.
