Laboratory technician

Principal responsibilities In the Quality Control department of an industrial plant
- Performing analytical controls on starting materials or finished products in compliance with Quality and Safety guidelines.
- Participating in technical studies and writing analytical reports.
- Helping with the maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Liaising with management to report deviations and improve analysis methods.

Required profile
Two-year technical training in Chemistry or Biochemistry (after school-leaving certificate) with knowledge and experience of laboratory techniques. Experience in analytical techniques (HPLC, CPG) also required. Knowledge of microbiology would be an asset. For this position, it will be absolutely necessary to write well and to integrate into a team showing real team spirit.
