As an international pharmaceutical group, Guerbet is directly present in 18 countries by way of its affiliates. From Research & Development to distribution, we exert full control over the entire range of our processes.
Headquarters
The Group is headquartered in Villepinte (12 km from Paris) near the Charles de Gaulle airport. Most of the company's support services can be found here (Quality, Human Resources, Information Systems, Purchasing, Communications, Marketing, Finance, Strategic projects, etc.) along with the French affiliate.
Affiliates
Guerbet distributes its products in some 70 countries across five continents. The Group is directly present in key markets (Europe, USA, Asia) by way of its 20 affiliates.
In Europe
Guerbet has a 25% share of the European market, making it one of the leaders in this region.

Research Center
With an organizational structure based on centers of competences, Group Research focuses on discovering and developing the contrast agents of the future. The Research Center is based in Aulnay-Sous-Bois, in Seine-Saint-Denis, and is equipped with an MRI scanner to support its strategy based on autonomous, ambitious and innovative discovery.
Production Plants
Guerbet has its own manufacturing and production facilities in four production plants. Our site in Marans, to the north-east of La Rochelle (Charente Maritime region) synthesizes active ingredients for our MRI product range. The site in Lanester (Morbihan region) manufactures active ingredients for X-ray products. Our sites in Aulnay-sous-bois (Seine-Saint-Denis) and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) are responsible for manufacturing finished pharmaceutical products.
Logistics Centers
Guerbet has three distribution centers situated in Europe, Asia and South America. The control exerted over the length of our supply chain operations optimizes costs and guarantees delivery timelines while conserving the exemplary quality of our products.
The platform in Gonesse, close to the site in Aulnay-sous-Bois, processes the breadth of our product range for Europe, Africa and the Middle-East. Our center in Hong-Kong manages supplies for Asia where closeness to local markets is a key factor. Finally, our Brazilian affiliate includes a logistics and supply unit for South America.
